Drivers

Wow, how long since I posted?

Quite a long time it seems... Something's been on my mind though.

It's road users in general. Now, I haven't been driving that long, but already I am infuriated at least once per journey, by other road users.

Why must people choose to drive within two metres of the back of my car?? No, it won't make me go faster. In fact, quite the opposite, I'll go slower, just to p**s you off!

=============

And what about these double yellow line thingies?? Now, tell me please if I mis-read my copy of the Highway Code, but it states that you aren't allowed to park on these.

It seems though, that some are exempt from this law, as they choose to park freely on double yellow lines, at their own will. Not only this, but they do it right on a junction, so I swing round and narrowly miss their precious Mercedes/BMW/(insert expensive car of choice).

It also appears that putting on your hazard lights makes you exempt from this law, as many people seem to do it when parked on double yellows.

=============

And how about people that moan about their speeding ticket?! Speed limits are put in place for a reason. Every time you exceed that limit, you are breaking the law and taking a risk. Simple answer is: don't speed!!! It's your own bloody fault if you get a ticket anyway.

=============

Don't even get me started on mobile phones. Once again, it's the law... I would say that the police should clamp down on it, but not after what I saw the other day.
Looking up at a passing Police car, I saw nothing other than the policewoman driving it ON HER PHONE!!! Hand to ear, phone blatently in hand, yapping away. Sickening.

But most of all is....

MOTORWAY DRIVERS

Get out of the f**king middle lane!!! Drive on the left, how hard can it be!?

If you're getting undertaken by a guy swearing at you on the motorway a lot, it's probably me. The motorway is simple. You drive on the left. You wanna overtake, you move to the lane on your right. You overtake, you pull back in to the left. If there is space on your left, you occupy it. If there is nothing in front of you, you stay in the left hand lane.

How difficult is that???

Here endeth the lesson
