I hear you're a racist now then...

Read me

What a load of pants

I don't like racism. It's sick. Disgusting behaviour that should be a criminal offence in itself.

But to brand this man's actions as racist, and dismiss him from his job for it, seems ridiculous!

John Cleese didn't get sacked for his Nazi jokes in Fawlty Towers, neither has anyone batted an eyelid at countless other TV programmes and the like that light-heartedly poke fun at the Nazis. Even in the modern day world, Harry Enfield's "Jurgen" did the same thing.

Political correctness gone mad.

I won't even go into my thoughts on "coloured" instead of black, "chalkboard" instead of blackboard and "Baa-baa fluffy sheep" instead of "Baa-baa black sheep"...!!!!

Where there's smoke...

Those who know me, know that I'm very anti-smoking.

I couldn't give a toss about the damage it does to the people who choose to smoke.

What does disgruntle me, is the damage it causes to me.

I don't choose to smoke. I like my air as it comes. Fresh.

There's nothing worse than walking down a street and getting a faceful of cigarette smoke from someone around you. It's bloody awful, and is my argument for a total ban on smoking in ALL public places.

Another inconvenience are pubs which allow smoking. Don't you hate it when you get home from a night out, and your skin, clothes and hair stink of fags...!?

"What about drinking?!" I hear you cry. Well, here is my view.

The by-product of smoking is smokey air, and I am regularly subjected to a face full of it.

The by-product of my drinking is piss... fancy a facefull?

And of course, it wouldn't be my blog if a news story hadn't inspired me...

This one, from Reuters

"We were detained by one of the wealthiest countries in the world, yet it was only after four months in detention that they gave me cigarettes," says one of Saddam Hussein's henchmen.

Yeah?! So what!? I've gone without them for 19 years! Did they give you food? Water? I assume so! Jeez, they're wealthy because they choose not to give prisoners completely unnecessary items like cigarettes!

Fool...
