Smoke signals

Have a read of this news story...

Now, as you'll know from reading other posts, I'm not a smoker. It disgusts me. I actually hate it. I couldn't care less about people actually smoking, it's the smoke I end up inhaling as part of it! It smells, it's horrible, yuk yuk yuk.

Now this ad campaign, whilst it will probably have no effect, is brilliant! It might actually highlight the plight of non-smokers, who endlessly suffer with inhaling second-hand smoke. I can't even go to a pub without getting choked by the stuff, and smelling of it for the whole night.

The director of Forest calls it a "relatively minor health risk". It isn't just about my health matey, it's about the smell and taste I get forced upon me.

The smoking ban in July will help things a lot. But it won't stop the facefulls of smoke that I regularly receive whilst outside.

If it were up to me, it would be banned in ALL public places, and would be up to the owner of private residences whether or not to allow smoking there.

Keep it within the homes of those who choose to do it. Please...
